My Pride, My Glory, My Mane..

At the moment I have no idea who reads my blog, but this post may interest more girls.

Some of you might have realised from my facebook pictures that I have never had such long hair as I do  now. When I was back in Penang, I used to visit the salon at least once every other month and get the stylist to give me a new cut. That's why it can never grow out. But in Perth, hair salon charge you so much. it's not even worth going into one, unless you earn the money here. It costs about $40 to get a haircut. You can actually go to one of those ExpressCut salons and pay $25 to get your hair cut but I just don't trust them. It's like those QuickCut salons we have in Penang, which I have never stepped foot in one. I tend to go to those whom I trust, like the one in Farlim and Georgetown. I should probably make a post or two on these two locations when I get my bum back to the island.

So yeah, enough said about all that, I shall proceed to the products that I have pretty sworn by the whole time I've been here.

Longer hair needs more attention and care towards it. You don't wanna have a "broom-head". I can't stand having dry hair and split ends. They drive me NUTS! Nuttier than what I already am. HAHAHA! Hence, the moment I reached here, I went out to get my daily toiletries. The last time I was here about 10 years ago, I remembered Woolies carrying Schwarzkopf products at a pretty reasonable price. So that was actually what I was looking for, shampoo, conditioner and whatever I can get my hands on from Schwarzkopf. I have never seen these products from Schwarzkopf in Malaysia, except the salon professional products which cost a bomb.

So these are what I got and they are really really GOOOOD! They are all from Schwazrkopf Extra Care Range.

The ones I got are for dry, stressed hair.
Stressed student, with stressed hair!

This is probably my 3rd set. I got them on SALE!!

The Extra Care Range

Yes, I got the leave-in spray as well.

The liquid inside actually splits into two layers.

These are a few reason why I love Schwazkopf!!!

1. Leaves my hair feeling soft and tangle-free

2. It smells really goood

3. The leave-in spray leaves a subtle shine to the hair

4. Reasonably priced

5. Lathers nicely

6. It really does protect hair from the harmful sun of Australia

7. Doesn't weigh the hair down making it look limp and flat.

Now I have one more product that I think is working wonders, because so far, there really is NO split ends at all! There should be some by now, since I haven't cut it in 5months!!!

This product is by L'oreal as you can see. It called the "night-elixir".

Again, I got it when it was on sale.

Now, I'm just gonna list down how I use all the products above.

1. Of course, I wash my hair the shampoo and then condition them.

2. Towel dry the hair and spray the leave-in conditioner.

3. Blow it dry with the hair-dryer. I use the hair-dryer EVERYDAY! I can't live without a hair-dryer!

4. When it's dry, apply the night-elixir to the ends of the hair.

5. Leave it to rest for about 10mins before heading to bed.

My advice is to wash your hair at night before you sleep and not in the morning. The reason why you wash your hair is to of course remove the dirt and grime that's stuck to the hair. Going out with friends and running errands in the city/university, dirt and grime gets stuck to the hair. It is therefore more logical to wash it all off before heading to bed instead of before heading out.

Do not wash your hair twice daily as it removes too much of the hair's natural oils leaving it dry and brittle.

It's alright to wash your hair everyday. Just make sure you condition them everyday you wash!

That's the end of this.
